Infrastructure
Right on the outskirts of Køge the motorway connects north to Copenhagen, south to Rødby and east to Odense, placing Køge right in the centre of traffic between Europe and Scandinavia. Køge harbour receives cargo from Scandinavia and the entire Baltic region, and ships also depart from Køge to the beautiful Danish island of Bornholm.
There are excellent train connections to Copenhagen, the rest of Denmark and beyond to continental Europe and Scandinavia. A 15 minute drive will take you to Roskilde airport and Copenhagen International airport is only 45 minutes away.
Køge is at the infrastructural heart of Zealand and connects continental Denmark and Germany with Scandinavia and the Baltic Sea region. This makes Køge an increasingly important town for those who are dependent on logistics and transportation in their business.
